These lights fit snugly over each post and stay in place with a screw. You can select from multiple colors to match the color of your deck stain. These lights are not only limited to wood decks, either. They can be used with composite ones too. Solar driveway lights work in a very similar way to deck lights, except that they go in the front yard.
